Notice of Public Comment Period: Paso Robles Subbasin Water Year 2024 Annual Report (Closes March 26, 2025)

Pursuant to the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) regulations, a Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) Annual Report must be submitted to the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) by April 1st of each year.

The purpose of the Annual Report is to provide information on groundwater conditions and implementation of the GSP over the prior water year to DWR (water year is defined as October 1st through September 30th).

The Public Draft Water Year 2024 Annual Report (October 1, 2023 – September 30, 2024) for the Paso Robles Area Subbasin of the Salinas Valley Groundwater Basin has been prepared by Confluence Engineering Solutions on behalf of the Paso Basin Groundwater Sustainability Agencies, and the 142-page, 33MB report is linked below for public review.

If you have any comments on the draft report, please email them to gw_groundwater@co.slo.ca.us by March 26, 2025. The public comment period begins today, March 7, 2025, and concludes March 26, 2025.
